The Future of Making is a research initiative to understand how heritage crafts are transforming. We traveled to key manufacturing regions in Japan to observe where industries are thriving, where they face pressure, and how they are innovating to meet the demands of modern life.
Dunefield leads projects that reimagine our future food systems to improve food security, eliminate waste, produce sustainably and stimulate innovation. We work closely with the food community in international teams to bring practical solutions to local challenges.
Dunefield and Denis Gautier Design have started the Victoria Drive Cohousing initiative. The vision is to create a diverse residential mix in a characteristic East Vancouver neighbourhood, while leveraging the qualities that make this place so special.
We create opportunities for cultural businesses by accommodating them in underused Chinese society buildings, churches, temples, community halls and other not-for-profit properties in Vancouver’s Strathcona and Chinatown neighbourhoods.
